A Trip to Mexico

My husband and I have just returned from a trip to Mexico.  (in January)  The first 5 days were spent at the Iberostar Resort at Playa Del Carmen.  My sister's son, Craig and his fiance, Brittany, were married on the beach.  It was a lovely wedding and just as they were taking pictures on the beach after the wedding, it began to rain.  Apparently, that is good luck.  It was a special time for all, including my mom, who made the trip from Ontario with my sister and brother-in-law. 

The next week, Wynn and I, stayed at the Park Royal Piramides in Cancun.  The weather was lovely and warm and we really enjoyed our time together.   The highlight was a trip to the Mayan Ruins which are now one of the new seven wonders of the world.

It has been a busy time since we have returned home, getting back to work, babysitting and of course enjoying Chloe, our puppy.

Right now Chloe is wearing a cone around her head to keep her from licking or biting her tummy after being spayed on Thursday.  She looks so sad when she looks at us.  I can't help but think that she must be wondering "What have I done?"  She seems to be healing well and hopefully it will only be a few more days until we can take the cone off.
